If you’re passionate about sharing Jesus and are curious about pursuing a career in ministry, a Jesus Film Project internship might be the perfect opportunity for you.
In 1979 we created the JESUS film to tell the story of Jesus. We have since translated it into more than 2,000 languages—because no one should have to learn another language to hear about Jesus. But there’s still more to do. Approximately 3.6 billion people are still waiting to hear. They may not have gospel materials in their language or a healthy, thriving church nearby.
Jesus Film Project works with partners around the world to make feature-length films, short films, digital apps, and resources that equip believers to share His love in the local language, disciple others and plant churches. We innovate and use new technology to break language and literacy barriers so that everyone can hear about Jesus.
You can be a part of this work.

“I loved my internship with Jesus Film Project! I was actively involved in real-world projects that other staff members were managing. I gained valuable experience and cherish the relationships I developed with my fellow interns and co-workers.”

Important details
Who can apply?
The internship program is designed for recent college graduates and graduating seniors in their spring semester, who would begin the internship after graduation. International students with the right to work in the United States are also welcome to apply.
How long is the internship?
The internship is a one-year commitment. However, you can renew your internship for a second year. As part of the renewal process, you would need to reapply.
Where is the internship located?
The internship is located in Orlando, Florida, at the World Headquarters of Cru, our parent ministry. Jesus Film Project staff members are also based in and work out of Orlando. This allows us to serve alongside Cru teams and other partner ministries.
Are internships paid?
Our pay structure is different than a traditional job, but interns are compensated for their work. Jesus Film Project, like its parent ministry Cru, is a support-based ministry. This means that no central funds are used to pay our missionary staff or interns. However, we do train interns and staff in how to raise financial support. Interns and missionary staff are paid a salary through the support they raise.
